What MINI speakers you are getting, and whether the amplifier can be included, largely depends on your factory stereo. So before you decide on your audio upgrade, decode your MINI’s VIN and check which option is featured in R59.

The installation should be a breeze for any DIY-er. It’s nothing more complex than disconnecting and taking out your original R59 MINI speakers / amplifier, and plugging the new ones in. If you change your mind (which we doubt ;)), you’re always free to go back to your previous setup, since everything is fully reversible.
