While our plug & play amplifier kept gaining momentum, we were working hard to create direct drop in replacement upgrade speakers for late model BMWs, to create a complete BMW sound system upgrade. Don’t know which speaker / amplifier upgrades are best for your BMW? The right kit will depend on your F07’s audio system. To check it, decode your VIN. You’ll see whether your 5 Series features Base, Hi-Fi (S676A), Top Hi-Fi (S677A) or Harman Kardon (S688A).
The installation of BMW F07 audio upgrades doesn't belong to the most complicated jobs. It’s a rather intuitive process involving the disconnection and removal of your original F07 BMW speakers / amplifier, and adding the replacement parts. On top of that, the installation is fully reversible.
